The Bradshaw Junior bed, has been developed around the specific challenges of paediatric nursing to accommodate younger patients safely and comfortably in a hospital, nursing or community environment. This electrically operated paediatric nursing care bed fills a gap in the market for nursing care beds developed expressly for paediatric use and has been carefully designed on a compact, scaled down basis to meet the needs of the paediatric environment. Standard height and low height models are available.
- Electrically operated fully profiling care bed designed specifically for paediatric use, measuring just 215cm in length.
- Variable height range of 28-70cm for patient ease of access and supporting carers with daily nursing duties.
- Bright and colourful appearance matches the bed to the paediatric environment.
- Profiling action enables backrest and knee break sections to operate in harmony, reducing discomfort for the user during bed repositioning.
- Integral, adjustable and two-stage unlocking full length side rails ensure optimum occupant safety, and can be released at both the head and foot ends.
- Delivered on a specially designed transport stand which can also be used for storage.
- Can be assembled by one person, with each individual bed section weighing less than 20kg.
- Lockout handset function.
- Fire retardant foam side rail pads available, covered with waterproof fabric (side rails can be operated with the pads in place).
- The Bradshaw Junior is compatible with the Apollo Junior Mattress Replacement System.
- Dual 15cm braked castors
- A lock box is also available as an additional safety feature to enable the handset and cables to be locked away and protected from unintentional use
